4 Years On: Bamenda II Council Mayor, Chenwie Peter Renders Stewardship Account to the Community

By Martial Gnoukapasi The head of the Bamenda II Municipal Council in Mezam division of the North West region, Mayor Chenwie Peter, has presented a Balance Sheet of his accomplishments since becoming Mayor of the municipality, following the twin legislative and municipal elections of February 9 2020. With his first mandate in office set to expire come 2025, the chief executive officer of the Bamenda II council area on April 2nd, indicated that it was incumbent on him as mayor to present to the electorates, a report card of his stewardship of the council. "We were elected to serve and we are soon moving into another election next year. The governor was speaking saturday March 23 at the metropolitan cathedral big mankon hall where he joined thousands to 'fete' the golden jubilee anniversary of the micro finance house. Governor Lele Lafrique flanked by other administrative big wigs of the region extended his unreserved applause to members of the board, referring to them as veritable stakeholders in the fight against poverty in Cameroon. Bali Old Boys Association(BOBA) Celebrates Golden Jubilee, Diamond Jubilee Of CPC Bali in Style

By Martial Gnoukapasi  BOBANs in a group picture with members of the administration The golden jubilee of the Bali Old Boys Association, BOBA which coincided with the 75th anniversary of the Cameroon Protestant College, CPC Bali, has been celebrated with pump, colour and style. The twin celebration which saw ex students of CPC converged Saturday March 23 at the campus of their Alma mater in Bali, presented an opportunity for them to fraternize and rekindle long time and fun memories. Speaking at the event the President General of BOBA Professor Duga Ernest Titanji enjoined all to observe a moment of silence for mates whom death has snatched along the way.  He traced the origin of BOBA as far back as 1974, indicating that the celebration of the golden jubilee presented an opportunity to reminisce in an effort to contemplate the way forward.
