Hon Fusi Naamukong: Stop Blaming Insecurity for Low Realisation of PIB Projects In Mezam.

   By Martial Gnoukapasi.       It was on the basis of the above argument that  Honourable Fusi Naamukong, chairman of the Mezam divisional follow up committee for PIB projects cum member of parliament for the Bafut- Tubah constituency, made a firm call to vote holders and other stakeholders involved in the execution process of public investment projects in the division, to stop hiding behind the same excuses for 3yrs and negotiate their way through the realisation of their bidded projects so as they can benefit members of their respective communities.        Statistics at the 1st quarterly follow up for the physico- financial execution of PIB projects in 2019 revealed that of the 115 projects allocated for the division this year, just 5 as of the month of April have been completed. 1 ongoing and a 109 under award procedure, leaving physical realisation at 1.08% while nothing has been engaged financially.  There exists Earth road pr...

Municipal Order Regulating Motorbike Sector Within Bamenda City Council Area Enforced

Martial Gnoukapasir Vincent Nji Ndumu, Government Delegate to the Bamenda city council        The municipal order No. 004/MO/2019 of March 15th signed by Government Delegate to the Bamenda city council Vincent Nji Ndumu and visad by senior divisional officer for Mezam Songa Pierre Rene, for the re-organisation of the commercial motorbike sector in the city of Bamenda, went into effect Thursday April 4th after a press conference  at the Chambers of the city council, where the delegate Vincent Nji Ndumu detailed to media men and women the modalities and procedures to be followed by both the council and bike owners/ riders for the successful implemention of the decision.       According to the delegate the Bamenda city council shall register all the motorcycles within the city, attributing numbers to all commercial motorcycles.   He futher explained that the first 1000 commercial bike owners/riders to show up for th...
