Anglophone Crisis: Fallouts of Historic Major National Dialogue 3 years on

It's been exactly three years since the historic Major National Dialogue successfully took place in Yaounde. Cameroon as a nation has since the dialogue which spanned September 30 to October 4, 2019 been undergoing several changes. These mutations are as a result of the deep reflections that characterised that dialogue. The impact of the dialogue three years after observers have said and rightly so, remains largely immeasurable given the gains made especially in tackling the crisis in the North West and South West regions. They also say the demand for more power at the base to enhance local development nationwide has been government’s priority since that gathering. The august event which rallied the sons and daughters of the nation from all ten regions of the country, paved a way for landmark actions with the benefits available for everyone to see today. E-patriotism is best for achieving Peace and Reconciliation

The founder of ICT University, Prof Victor Mbarika has initiated a program he says will help crusade and enforce the peace and reconciliation process in Cameroon. The ICT expert and academician presented the E-patrotism concept for peace and reconciliation at the 4th session of the follow-up of Implementation of the Recommendations of the Major National Dialogue that took place at the Prime Minister's office recently. Passionate about seeing peace re-established in conflict torn North West and South West,Prof. Mbarika said  "..in the face of changes in technology, there's obvious need to give it a pivotal role in suing for peace".
