Over 200 bags of Rice, Other food, sanitary items shared to IDP's , Orphans, Muslim Faithfuls In Bamenda
By Martial Gnoukapasir Chief Ntonefor Kembou Rene facing the press A consignment of over 200 bags of rice, other food and sanitary items like salt and soaps have been handed over to internally displaced persons from some communities of the North West resident in Bamenda, Orphans and the Muslim Community of old town. The philanthropic gesture was an initiative of the Director of Road Transport, Dr Mbamone and Chief Ntonefor Kembou Rene of Soh Bafut, who's doubles as the fourth deputy mayor of the Bafut Council. Handing over the items at a symbolic event that took place Thursday March 20th at the old town neighborhood, one of the donors Chief Ntonefor Rene said the humanitarian gesture, is an extension of what they have been doing to many communities for the past 10 years.
