Bamenda: Man Masturbates on the street after futile attempt to rape little girl

The population that gathered, pounced on the young man believe to be in his early 30's at the Ghana street neighborhood in Bamenda at about 6:45pm as he wrestle the girl to a tight corner for sexual gains. CAGEAD launches UNSCR1325 handbook, trains and certify grassroot peace ambassadors

CCMN Members Draw New Lessons From Conflict In Anglophone Regions.

North West Chapter Members of the Cameroon Community Media Network(CCMN)-a network of media men and women that have embraced the humanitarian approach to news reporting in an attempt to minimize the negative effects of the conflict in the north west and south west regions of Cameroon, have taken a firm commitment to raise more awareness on the need to protect young girls especially Idp's against sexual exploitation and abuse. We met Emmanuel Arrey, introduced to us as an ex amba combatant and a senior prefect of the ex fighters who surrendered their weapons at the disarmament, demobilisation and reintegration unit located in Bamenda, capital city of the north west region in Cameroon. On November 10th 2020, during a humanitarian outing by the Bamenda II Council to donate food and Sanitary materials to the ex combatants, this reporter had the opportunity to interview him. Student Stabs Teacher To Death At GBHS Nkolbison, Yaounde

Bassang Victory 15-year old Brice Bisse Ngossa Students of the Government Bilingual High School Nkolbison in yaounde, are still in shock after a form three (Form3) student of the said institution by name  Brice Bisse Ngosso, stabbed his Maths teacher  on the throat to death using a compass.  According to reports, the said student on several occasion has been noted for being rebellious, and when the deceased(the maths teacher) by name Njoni Tchakoute, got into class on Tuesday 13th Jan. 2020, he expelled the student from class and the student pledged to revenge.  He simply matched his words with action on Wednesday jan. 14th 2020, by stabbing the victim thrice on the neck when he got to school.  The deceased 25-year old Njoni Tchakoute Other sources hold that the teacher was stabbed as he attempted to deprive the student of a phone he was manipulating during the lesson. COMINSUD Engages Media Actors In The Fight Against GBV, Sexual And Reproductive Health Promotion.

By Gnoukapasi Martial.   A situational analyses of the socio economic and cultural impacts of the ongoing crisis on the anglophone population of Cameroon, has revealed more than meets the ordinary eye.    Statistics from the IRC (international red cross committee) has further  revealed that since the start of the crisis, over 70% of women aged 15 to 35 are more exposed to abuse.   Women and children who are the highest to have suffered displacement from their homes are not only faced with the problem of accommodation, but the inability to meet their basic needs as well.   This has pushed alot, out of frustration, to adopt unhealthy coping mechanisms, in an attempt to satisfy their wants and needs, and believe you me that, some of the strategies and tactics employed hasn't been the best, and has futher exposed them to cases of gender abuse in their host communities.    Most of these women, especially the girls just by the virtue of the fa...
