ICT University launches Nanosatellite Training and Certification program in Cameroon

Martial Gnoukapasi The higher institution of learning, The ICT University, in partnership with Nanosatellite Missions Design LTD, NMD LTD has taken a bold step to engage an ambitious space program. The Space Program of the university will result in the launch of Cameroon’s first-ever satellite. This comes after the presentation of the design phase of the space mission which took place at the University's campus in Messasi, Yaounde, on Friday, November 25, 2022. The design of the satellite which would be in orbit was made public during the above mentioned ceremony. It will be used for civilian purposes such as in medicine, agriculture among others . The presentation was the first space mission designed by a Cameroonian University as part of the standard process towards the launch of its own civilian satellite. Inhabitants of the 20 health districts in the north west region, benefiting from the 5th round Nationwide campaign against Covid-19

By Martial Gnoukapasi North West occupant receiving his the Covid-19 vaccine at 5th Nationwide campaign launch The population of 20 health districts of the North West region have begun taking their vaccine against the Covid-19 virus. This follows the launching of the 5th round of the Nationwide campaign launched in the region by North West governor Adolph Lele lafrique Friday November 9th at the explanade of his office. In his address to the population the governor appealed for all to get to the various vaccination center and get themselves vaccinated. He also encouraged those who had long received the vaccine to go for renewal in order to fight the new wave of contamination.
