Inhabitants of the 20 health districts in the north west region, benefiting from the 5th round Nationwide campaign against Covid-19

The population of 20 health districts of the North West region have begun taking their vaccine against the Covid-19 virus.

This follows the launching of the 5th round of the Nationwide campaign launched in the region by North West governor Adolph Lele lafrique Friday November 9th at the explanade of his office.

In his address to the population the governor appealed for all to get to the various vaccination center and get themselves vaccinated. He also encouraged those who had long received the vaccine to go for renewal in order to fight the new wave of contamination.

His words were supplemented by that of the Northwest regional delegate for public health Kingsley Che Nsoh who added taking the vaccine prevents an emergence of the 6th wave of the pandemic.

He however noted that the 5th wave of the pandemic in the country is not as devastating as the 4th wave.
