COMAGEND Educates Adolescent Girls, Young Mothers On Sexual Reproductive Health

Adolescents receiving lectures on HIV/AIDS Some 15 adolescent girls and young women have been drilled on using their voices to advocate for the inclusion of Adolescent Girls and Young Women AGYW in decision making processes, especially within The Global Fund Processes for HIV/AIDS, Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights SRHR services provision. Thanks to a workshop organised within the framework of the'Her Voice Matters: Give Her the Space to Fight’ Project' executed by COMAGEND Cameroon with funds from Her Voice and partners. The Strategic Planning Workshop, was declared open by the Country lead for the 'Her Voice Funds' Mme Waah Clotilda the founder/CEO of the Center for Advocacy in Gender and Development CAGEAD. Cohort 3 AFF Fellows- DefyHateNow Set To Move Out of Comfort Zones

Traders receiving protective gear Some 27 men and women at the Bamenda-food market north west region of Cameroon have received facemasks to help protect themselves against the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic in their communities. CCMN Members Draw New Lessons From Conflict In Anglophone Regions.

North West Chapter Members of the Cameroon Community Media Network(CCMN)-a network of media men and women that have embraced the humanitarian approach to news reporting in an attempt to minimize the negative effects of the conflict in the north west and south west regions of Cameroon, have taken a firm commitment to raise more awareness on the need to protect young girls especially Idp's against sexual exploitation and abuse. NW chief of statistics, Fotue Sebastien The north west regional chief of statistics Fotue Sabastien says statistics is primordial in the ongoing fight against the Covid-19 pandemic in the country. He was speaking Wednesday November 18th during activities to mark the 30th anniversary of the African Statistics Day in the region. "Without statistics it won't be possible for decision makers to plan, evaluate and decide if it's necessary to change strategies or not.
