South West: Steering Committee President Salutes Execution Rate of President Biya's Reconstruction Plan in the Region

President of the steering committee touring reconstruction projects Inhabitants of the South West Region and those in Fako division in particular, have taken a firm commitment to protect and guard jealously,  projects which have realised under the Presidential Plan for the Reconstruction and Development of the South West Region. Projects already executed alongside those still under reconstruction within the same framework on Wednesday March 22, came under scrutiny. On the ground himself to inspect these projects was the Minister, Director of Cabinet at the Prime Minister's office, President of the Steering Committee of the reconstruction plan, Balungeli Confiance Ebune. During his meeting with the beneficiaries, local development actors and implementing partners at the Buea Mountain Hotel, the activity report for 2022 was presented. NASLA Entrance Exam: Bamenda Disarmament Center Occupant among successful candidates

By Martial Gnoukapasi NASLA Entrance Exam successful candidate The co-ordinator of the Bamenda Disarmament Demobilization and Reintegration Centre, kum Henry Ichu, has celebrated the results of one of the occupants, who succeeded in the entrance examination into the National School of Local Administration - NASLA. The girl in question, who recorded a pass mark under ' Administration and Management of Social Policies - Cycle B', and whose identity has been concealed by this reporter for her own safety  told MNews237 that "One of the many things I asked  when i got to the DDR centre, was for the government to allow me continue my education. The Chief of Centre agreed and some of us started schooling. That's how I got my advance level and now this entrance examination" . She explained that her success means a lot to her, and should send across a message to those still in the bushes, who thought and still thinks the Bamenda disarmament Centre is a shadow of itself.

Cameroon: Violent acts against women buried by seven year conflict

GBV is phenomenon that has witnessed an increase within the English-speaking regions of Cameroon rocked by a socio-political crisis commonly called the Anglophone crisis since 2016.
