The Anglophone crisis which he acknowledge has entrusted
additional responsibility on all of us has seen lives lost, properties destroyed, people displaced in and out of the
country, causing untold pain and
suffering in both material and moral terms.
To the NGO,s who've been active and have had to redesign
their programs to meet up with the challenges such as needs of IDP's etc., he
beckon on them to remain comprehensive and holistic in their approach as they endeavor
to bring onboard each and everyone's support on the table.
To the clergy he
thank them for sharing in the collective pains that the people of the two
English speaking regions are going thru,
while reminding them that they are not alone.
The crisis which
has gain international recognition with ardent need for the collective problems
and issues to be address to enable the suffering population regain their sense of
morality hasn’t spare the journalists he added.
Known to be those
with very restricted political space to work before the crisis, under normal
circumstances, the tasks now seems to have doubled with the crisis and
journalists caught in the cross fire.
He however promised
them that he will always look for opportunities, to ensure that their voices
are heard.
A token and some material consignment were
handed to the NGO and religious authorities for onward distribution to some
vulnerable IDP's within their zone of influence.Dr.Christopher Formunyoh facing the press |
