The Formunyoh Foundation Appreciates Humanitarian Efforts and Donations of NGO’s, The Church and Media In the Two Restive Anglophone Regions

          The senior associate for Africa and regional director of the national democratic institute for international affairs, Cameroon born Dr Christopher Formunyoh who doubles as founder of the charitable humanitarian Formunyoh foundation, has saluted some key civil society structures, religious entities and the media family in the north west region, for the key role they now play in mitigating the sufferings brought about by the Anglophone crisis.

   The elite from Batibo precisely from Guzang; one of the localities known to be suffering from the escalating violence which now characterize the crisis that's been on for 3years running, extended the symbolic gesture of support and encouragement with the above mentioned group of persons during a meeting with them at the head quarters of his foundation at mile six Mankon Saturday march 16th 2019.
Humanitarian package

The Anglophone crisis which he acknowledge has entrusted additional responsibility on all of us has seen lives lost, properties destroyed,  people displaced in and out of the country,  causing untold pain and suffering in both material and moral terms.
    To the NGO,s  who've been active and have had to redesign their programs to meet up with the challenges such as needs of IDP's etc., he beckon on them to remain comprehensive and holistic in their approach as they endeavor to bring onboard each and everyone's support on the table.
   To the clergy he thank them for sharing in the collective pains that the people of the two English speaking regions are going thru,  while reminding them that they are not alone.
   The crisis which has gain international recognition with ardent need for the collective problems and issues to be address to enable the suffering population regain their sense of morality hasn’t spare the journalists he added.
    Known to be those with very restricted political space to work before the crisis, under normal circumstances, the tasks now seems to have doubled with the crisis and journalists caught in the cross fire.
  He however promised them that he will always look for opportunities, to ensure that their voices are heard.
  A token and some material consignment were handed to the NGO and religious authorities for onward distribution to some vulnerable IDP's within their zone of influence.
