Words can't even begin to describe how inhabitants of the city of Bamenda, chief town of the North West Region paid Homage to whom they describe to have  been one of their best Pidgin news broadcasters in the city.

Peter Tebit Chi widely known by his fans and listerners of Radio Hot Cocoa in Bamenda modulating on Frequency 94.0mgz as Mac Chi, handed over his microphone and the batton commanding his existence to the cold hands of death in the early hours of Tuesday morning May 14 in his native land of Moko'oh Guzang in Batibo sub division, after every humanly attempt to save his life in the best of hospital in the country failed.

Meantime from the Bamenda regional hospital to his old town residence via Food market to the compound of Radio Hot Cocoa where he rendered unforgettable services till his demise, the mortal remains of Peter Tebit Chi was trailed by a momouth crowd of lovers of his works including bike riders, sympathizers and onside Lookers.

At the radio compound prayer was offered by a Senior colleague Jeff Ngawe, senior Journalists, North West chief for the Reporter news paper and panelist of one of Radio hot Cocoa's famous program *Frank Talk*. This was followed by eulogies from colleagues .

An editorial of who his was, vis-a-vis his works and lifestyle was compiled and presented by his chief of news Ninpa Francis and was followed by a word from the president of the Cameroon Association of English speaking Journalists NW chapter Ambe Macmillan Awa.

He described the deceased as a broadcaster of no mean importance. A radio broadcaster who distinguished himself as an audio winner and expressed himself with confidence and without complex.

Though he wasn't full time member of CAMASEJ, the association had before his demise launch a Contribution geared towards his wellness but death refused for the money to be spent for that purpose.

He used the sad ceremony to call on Journalists within the region to at least hang on one of the many journalism associations in the country so as permit follow up on issues regarding their security and well being.

Very few colleagues were able to follow him to his final resting place in Moko'oh Guzang as separatist forces shot at part of the funeral convoy, urging them to make a U turn.
