Military Operations In Bui: General Nka Valere presents report card, Says 'No Pity' is on the run

Brigadier General Nka Valere - Commander of the 5th joint military region has term as "successful", the first phase of military operations conducted to rid Bui division in the North West region of seperatist fighters.

Speaking Tuesday June 15th in kumbo during a field assessment trip to measure the impact of Operation Kumbo Clean ,coming after operation Bui 1 and 2, Nka Valere congratulated and saluted the bravery of the security elements and colonel Matiang Charles Alain of the 51st motorized infantry brigade, who led the operation that began May 15th this year.

The General said "Many terrorists have been neutralized but unfortunately we also lost 4 men during the operation and some were wounded.."

The operation resulted to the confiscation of 5-Ak47's and other locally fabricated guns and artisanal, improvised explosive devices, 10 bikes, gallons of contraband fuel, charms etc.

The said operation as presented by Colonel matiang, also led to the death of 3 seperatist generals. General spider, General thunder of kikaikom and Abakwa of meluf.

The General also said "Bui division has proven to be the epicenter of what we call the Ambazonian struggle here in the North West region", since the military engaged in operations to flush out seperatist fighters in all seven divisions of the region.

As he saluted the efforts of the soldiers in this first phase of the operation, he also called on them to always keep guard and be vigilante in the discharge of their duties.

Seperatist general 'No Pity' he said, has been using thesame tactics in all his operations and for him to be captured, the soldiers must keep guard at all times.

The first phase of military operations in Bui engulfed 3 seperate missions which took colonel matiang and his elements to more than 8 seperatist camps in the division.

There was Ngoke-Bui conducted in February which lasted eight days, resulting to the destruction of eight amba camps in Kumbo, verkovi, yelum, nkor and tatum.



12 seperatist fighters were killed, many injured and locally fabricated guns, other artisanal and gas bottles use in fabricating local explosive devices also confisicated.

The military lost 3 soldiers with 7 others sustaining injury during that operation, as presented by colonel Matiang Charles of the 51st motorized infantry brigade to Nka Valere after the February operation that led to the death of 'general' Arsan.
