Crime: 15-year-old stabs friend in Bamenda

The Perpetrator of the crime goes by name Collins and is 15 years old.

The unfortunate incident happened in the Sisia II neighborhood in Bamenda III sub division, Mezam.

Jeremiah, popularly reffered to as Jerry was stabbed by Collins simply because he attacked and accused him for stealing the bottles and crates he was putting together to open a drinking spot.

A source close to both Jeremiah and Collins explained to MNews237 after the victim had been rushed to the Nkwen Baptist hospital for medical attention that ;

"it all started when Jerry discovered that Collins had stolen the bottles he brought back home, he confronted him the night of sunday January 16th and a fight ensued between the two, with collins injuring Jerry severely. The next day Collins came to my house, ask me to follow him and see what he'll do to Jerry but I stayed back since I was mopping.
Few minutes later I went to Jerry's place only to discover that Collins had stabbed Jeremiah on the stomach and took off. I met him later and asked what happened he only said he will tell me later"

Information we also got from the scene says Collins, after stealing the bottles kept them with a friend following an unsuccessful attempt to sell to a business woman operating a beer parlor in Sisia II.

Perpetrator of the act

The Perpetrator was given the beating of his life after he was caught by the population.

It took the intervention of sympathizers before he was saved from the hands of angry youths of the neighborhood.

The elder brother of Jerry by name Forwang Charles told MNews237, that the survivor just suffered an accident from a local bakery at Sisia Quarter where he works.
He is said to have greatly injured his left hand that was caught by one of the machines.
