Hon. Agho Oliver Pays fee for orphans who've lost parents to the conflict in Tubah/Bafut

Honourable Agho Oliver - member of parliament representing those in the Bafut Tubah Constituency in mezam division of the North West region of Cameroon, has paid the school fee of over 200 kids whose parents have been killed in the course of the seven years crisis in the region.
The member of parliament also accompany this gesture by offering school materials such as books, pens pencils and others to the children.
To him, it is the best way to celebrate his election into the executive committee of Parliamentarians for Global Action that took place Wednesday October 30, 2024 at the Pakistani institute for parliamentary Services, on the sidelines of the 45th annual forum and 13th consultative general assembly of Parliamentarians in pakistan
Hon. Agho Oliver said the fact that these children have become orphans doesn't mean their educational dreams should end.
He added that it doesn't matter whose child or children, all kids deserve the right to education.
The symbolic donation took place at the premises of the divisional officer for Tubah, yesterday November 5, 2024.
The children didn't only bagged home fees, but other school materials like books, pens, pencils amongst others , amounting to a whooping 1.9million francs CFA.
"You don't share because you have, you share because you have the heart to share" he said in the course of the donations.
He said his actions, which has a biblical backing, is a way of thanking God for the numerous blessings he continue to shower on him.
"Instead of spending what was given me after my election on luxurious Hotels and booking first class flight, I choose to save the money to carter for the educational needs of the underprivileged of my constituency " he told the press.
Speaking earlier, community leader by name George Gemoh thank him for coming to the aid of the vulnerable little ones in the community.
His words were complimented by that of the commissioner for economic affairs at the North West Regional Assembly Gejung Awunti, who said through the member of parliament, villages in Bafut and Tubah sub divisions have benefited alot socially, culturally and economically.
People have been in darkness and light has come through the MP. Others go and don't look back but Agho is different. We must make him proud by going to school. He does a lot for this constituency to thrive" he said.
One of the political figures of Tubah, Ndikum Patrick likened the member of parliament to "a dog who keeps hunting for his people" and that the community was proud of his actions.
The divisional officer for tubah Massango Metouge Narcisse indicated because of insecurity and repeated attacks, they had to relocate a school like GHS Macha to the Divisional office to permit children study.
He applauded the member of parliament for coming to the aid of some of these children
