RELIGION: Hot Cocoa Radio Journalist, Now Elder Muma Jude Awa Answers God's Call.
The dedication/induction rituals of some 17 new elders to serve the PC Nitop congregation as "fishers of men" with mission to win more souls on the side of God Sunday June 2nd 2019, was indeed a special one not just for congregants of PC Nitop mankon and the journalism family in the North West. It was also a defining moment in the spiritual life and growth of Muma Jude Awa, a journalist and one of those caught by the net casted by the Lord to serve as his disciple in proclaiming the gospel as per the scriptures. |
when the Rev. Namaya Elangwe Samson asked if they were ready to embrace and respect the doctrines and disciplines of the Presbyterian Church, and amongst trials and tribulations prove themselves worthy enough to be the pillars of Christ and ready enough to discharge their mission faithfully and deligently in the nursing of both Christians and non believers spiritually and holistically.
Muma Jude Awa who's also one of the finest broadcasters in the city of Bamenda serving with Radio hot cocoa was amongst those deemed fit by the Lord to serve in his vineyard.
After Serving the congregation in the capacity of president of the Christian Youth Fellowship movement (CYF)of the PC Nitop for a duration of 13 solid years, he also in line with the theme of the celebration "Choose today whom you will serve", pledged his commitment before God's sanctuary to rid himself of old habits, serve no other god but the most highas inscribed in the book of Joshua Chapter 24:14-15. "......as for my family and me, we will serve the Lord."
The dedication ceremony was attended by special friends and colleagues who in their numbers turn out to experience the life transforming moments with him. |
