Women turn out in their numbers for the women's day celebration in Nkambe


500 Pieces of the women's day fabric worth 5 million and 1million cash, is what the member of parliament donated to the women of his constituency on March 8th on the occasion of the international women's day.

Tradition was once again respected at the Fon Ibrahim Jabfuh grandstand in Nkambe, Donga Mantung Division of the North West region, as women turned out massively and beautifully to commemorate the 2024 edition of the international women's Day.

Showcasing resilience, commitment and dedication to community development, the women of Nkambe displayed peace plants, stating that they have wiped away the sad memories of February 11, 2024, forging ahead in peace.

Like the saying that a man is Happy when his woman is Happy, the women of Nkambe expressed their gratitude to Hon Ngala Gerard, for the beautiful and colorful nature of the day.

For the success of this day in Nkambe, Hon Ngala Gerard donated 500 women's Day fabrics worth 5 million FCFA to women in Nkambe, and 1 million FCFA cash offer, for their refreshments.

The Divisional delegate for Women's empowerment and the family for Donga Mantung Division, Mrs Chantal NENG Mubele says the Women's Day turnout in Nkambe, was 200%, this March 8th, 2024.

With his first mandate in office set to expire come 2025, the chief executive officer of the Bamenda II council area on April 2nd, indicated that it was incumbent on him as mayor to present to the electorates, a report card of his stewardship of the council.
